Appointment Policy

Square One Psychology will attempt to send a courtesy reminder a few days prior to your scheduled assessment. However we still expect clients to remember their assessment and arrive on time. That said, we understand that from time to time an assessment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. Please email squareonepsychology@icloud.com to reschedule or cancel your assessment if you are unable to attend.

Square One Psychology requires at least 48 hours' notice in order to offer the assessment time to a client on the waiting list. Missed assessments and late cancellations (less than 48 hours' notice) will be subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the assessment fee. We understand that exceptional circumstances may occur, and we may be flexible in these situations. However, this is at our discretion and only in extraordinary circumstances.

Payment information

Square One Psychology requires a 50% deposit to be received prior to the assessment session. The remaining balance will be due 14 days after the assessment session, unless a payment plan has been arranged.

We understand that psychological assessment can be expensive. With the increasing cost of living pressures facing many families, when the unexpected happens, we appreciate that you may need support. For families and individuals experiencing genuine financial hardship, setting up a payment plan can help spread the expense over multiple smaller payments, and help avoid late charges. You can easily arrange a payment plan with us at no additional cost by:

• Emailing squareonepsychology@icloud.com (Subject Line: Request for Payment Plan) requesting a payment plan and indicating your proposed payment amounts and frequency

Please Note: Payment plans must be completed within the agreed period. A $25.00 administration fee will be charged if a payment is missed in the agreed payment plan.
